People Can’t Find You
What is it costing you for every customer and sale you don’t get? People are looking for what you offer. They don’t know you and you don’t know them. They are unable to connect with you because they don’t know you are out there. Your opportunity to make a sale is lost. This situation occurs again and again. More and more opportunities come and go and you never know. Consumers buy what they want from businesses they can easily find. Businesses invest in marketing so that people can easily find them.
Nothing for Nothing
The best things in life can sometimes be free, but that’s not true when it comes to growing your business and finding new customers. You can only get so much for free, and free is typically not enough to make any significant increase in your presence in the marketplace. If you don’t have a strong presence where people are looking for you, the internet, you have very little chance of attracting new customers. Too many other organizations are out there spending on marketing and advertising, so that people find them without difficulty.
No Risk, No Reward
The true business adage is “no risk, no reward”. Businesses risk capital to make profit. The more you risk the greater chances for reward. Although marketing doesn’t offer instant and guaranteed results, generally it pays dividends that are far greater than the outlay. Businesses spend money on marketing because that’s what it takes to grow. I’m sure you’ve heard the expression, “you have to spend money to make money”, the expression is quite true! While there are free marketing strategies, you won’t get very far on free. Be smart when you make the decision to invest in marketing. Start with small investments to get your marketing up and running and then reinvest more as business increases. You’ll be on your way to increased income and greater success!
